It’s hard to believe OCD once had such a powerful hold on me I thought suicide might be the only way out. I’m so glad I got help when I did. Check out my latest blog post for the International OCD Foundation.

I am the author of Being Me with OCD: How I Learned to Obsess Less and Live My Life, a nonfiction book for teens and young adults with OCD. Part memoir, part self-help guide, Being Me with OCD lets readers know they're not alone in their struggle to get better--and that there is hope.
I share a lot of similarities to your story. OCD sucks! I am glad that today my life isn’t being held hostage to OCD obsessions. I would also like to second the International OCD Foundation endorsement. Not enough good things can be said about them.
Thanks for writing! I love your blog, too. And, yeah, IOCDF rocks! If it weren’t for them I don’t know where I’d be–it’s how I realized I probably had OCD and how I found my psychiatrist.
